Coast FM Local Hour - Meeting Local People 
Coast FM Visits THE CAKE KITCHEN in Frinton on sea Every weekday The Local Hour takes you out and about around the Tendring area. Tune in at 6pm weekdays. Monday 8th February - Martin Gee & Big Bazza meet the Clacton Sea Cadets & Martin & Terry Vickers visit LICCT. Tuesday 9th February - Hear again when Tim Anderson went along to the evening when Clacton Carnival Association chose their 2008 Carnival Queen & Chris Tyler was recently at the Clacton Beer Festival. Wednesday 10th February - It's Adult Learning Day on Coast, with Martin Gee. Thursday 11th February - Hear again when Marc Elliott met Dave Garlick, lead singer of the Low Riders & Marc & Martin Gee also meet local historian Norman Jacobs. Friday 12th February - Martin Gee & Big Bazza visit Scoobie Snax in Brightlingsea. CHILDREN IN NEED 2009

Martin Gee from Coast FM managed to have a chat with Natalie Emmerson about what they will be doing on the day..hear his interview on the Local Hour Shortly. 
UPDATE even with the bad weather on the day ,primary care manage to raise around £700 for the BBC children in need appeal |

Tendring freeview upgrade |

The first of the UPGRADES on the Freeview Digital TV network have now been carried out, on Wednesday 30th September Digital viewers with Freeview needed to do a full retune in order to continue to recieve the full channel line up. Some viewers in the Tendring area are still unable to get the full selection of channels and will have to wait until the full switchover in 2011 for this to be rectified. for more information please click here |
